My son was playing a game online why the alert popped up saying computer was infected with a zeus virus and computer was locked, screen notified us to call 888 number for JC IT services who informed me my computer was infected and IP address was hacked. They said they needed remote access to do diagnostics and clean virus from computer, asked for name, address and credit card info to charge $199.99 for services rendered. Called back after 45 min to say it was fixed.
I called Geek Squad and they confirmed it is a scam. They infect computer w virus then they notify you so they can collect payment to fix computer and install spyware.
