Type of a scam Debt Collections
I was contacted by an individual by the name of Jason Gordan stating that I owed $500 from a loan that I supposedly taken out in 2011 and made payment until 2014, in the amount of $500. This individual could not provide a physical address nor tell me where this company was located, but he could take a payment over the phone. Jason hung up the phone in my face when I started questioning him about the name of the finance/cash advance company that I borrowed. I called Jason back to inform him that I needed additional information. Jason told me that due to Covid-19 and protesting that he could not give out his location. I was transferred over to a female by the name of Amanda that starting screaming at me, calling me ignorant because I needed additional information to pass on to my attorney. These people had my address, SS#, my cell phone numbers, work and home telephone number.
