Type of a scam Online Purchase

Credit card was charged in February 2020. I reported the charge as fraud since no one in our company had signed up for this service. The card/account was cancelled and a new card was issued. The charge showed up again in March 2020. When I contacted the credit card company again about the charge they said when the new card was issued J2 Efax contacted Visa and got the new account number by telling Visa it was an authorized, recurring charge. When I contacted J2 Efax, the customer service rep said she could not help me unless I gave her the account number for the credit card! I reported it again to the credit card company as fraud. Don’t know if this will fix the problem. The first fraudulent charge from them was followed by over $6000 in additional fraudulent charges in 3 days. Can’t say for sure but it is almost like they sold the credit card to someone else.
