Type of a scam Phishing
I googled iTunes customer service and a website came up stating it was for Itunes. The number given on the website is 844-855-3346. A male answered stating he was with iTunes. I explained that I couldn’t get into my iTunes account. He explained that he needed to get into my computer to fix the iTunes problem. He used some sort of web app and gained full access to my computer. He then advised that I need to buy a $100.00 iTunes gift card which I did the next day. He called me back from the number 800-640-3506. When he called me back I gave him the gift card number. He said he would credit me back the $100.00. He also got into my bank account from having access to my computer. When I realized I was scammed I called Apple customer service, who advised me that they don’t have an Itunes customer service. I’m out $100. and had to change all of my banking and computer information.
