Type of a scam Tech Support
On 8.2.19, received phone call that left voice message for me to call number back or my bank account would be charged. Called number back and man answered (he sounded of Asian decent). He addressed me by name. He said I owed money for a computer service back in 10.8.2017. I told him I never bought any computer service since I never had internet service in 2017. I told him I owed nothing because I never bought any service. I told him he was not to try to get money from my account.
I never gave any personal info to him. He never told me what amount I supposedly owed. He told me he wouldn’t take any money from my bank account. My fiancé then called the same number back to find out what company he was with. He never told me. The same guy answered and only said hello. My fiancé asked him what company he is with and he said Itech Solutions. We called our bank and asked them to block any charges from this company and we were told they could not do it. On 8.7.19, I again received the same call from this man. I called him back and reiterated that I owed them nothing and not to try to take money from my account. I advised my fiancé again about the second call. She called the number and the same man answered the phone. She told him that we were going to report him to the police, BBB, etc and he started yelling that he would see us in court. He never asked her who she was or why she was calling. She had a neighbor with her and her phone on speaker so the neighbor could be a witness. We did call police to report it but were told there was no crime committed so there was nothing they could do. We were told to monitor our bank account.
