Total money lost $330

Type of a scam Tech Support

This company had been doing work on my computer a couple of months ago. I paid them $330.00 to do the work and install proper security (virus protection). Monday 10/2 they called me and said that they were having to close their business at the request of the government and ScamPulse.com and were having to refund all of the customers the money they had paid for work they had done. I allowed them to dial into my computer which they had done a couple of months ago to make some adjustments that they said were necessary on Tuesday 10/3. I always spoke with a man named Charles. After the completion of the work I talked to another gentleman that took information regarding how to refund the $330 back to me. He had me set up an account with Western Union where he would transfer the funds back into my account and said the funds would be in my account within 30 minutes. The funds have never arrived and my computer has lost all of my files that I had stored. I attempted to call them all day 10/4 and Charles finally called me back and said that for me to get the money I would have to go buy a $500 Walmart gift card and that they would then send me $1000.00 to replace the purchase and that I would actually end up getting $170 in my pocket over the $330 that they owe me. I advised Charles I would not go purchase the gift card and that they could send me the money. Today 10/5 Charles has called again wanting to know my decision about purchasing the gift card and I told him NO. If I am supposed to get this money back I need it, let alone the fact that I have lost all files on my computer.
