Called about a credit card account for on 2007 that I have no record of. When I stated I would disputed, man hung up on me. I called back and he said since I was disputing that I would be served. I called back for a third time and a women threatened me at my place of work.

They call from 513-973-1968 saying there’s a complaint made against you and will be filed in the next 24 hrs and have a file number and said press 1 speak someone now or call 904-320-0224 and give file number. I called and no live person. Said leave name, phone number and file number and someone call you back

This company has been calling my daughter about a supposed debt owed to Best Buy, and are offering her a settlement amount to pay that is less than the purported debt owed. They called me several times and I finally had a chat with them, and asked what name the debt "owed" was under, and they gave me wrong info. Then they said they were sending out a warrant for her arrest to the police, and said her car would be pulled over and she will go to jail. I asked for the model and make of her car they were going to pull over, and the license number, and it was all bogus. They were unable to tell me what the charges on her card were, and said that was state’s evidence against her that would come up in court. She has called both HSBC and Best Buy and has no debt owed to either company, so we know it is bogus, but they keep calling from different phone numbers and harassing her.Can you put a stop to this? When I try to call the numbers listed above, it sounds legitimate, and they say press 1 if you have a case number, and when you press 1, it rings once and disconnects. I called back and it says to speak to a rep, press 2, and when I press 2, it rings once and hangs up. Help???
