Type of a scam Tax Collection
Received a call from this number. They claimed to be the U.S. Treasury department and told me that the IRS had filed a lawsuit against me and that a warrant had been posted for my arrest. (Highly unlikely!) I hung up before they could get to the part about me needing to send them money, but I’m sure that would have been next on their agenda.
