Type of a scam Tax Collection
Mature female friend received phone call on land line at home. She called me very distraught because they told her there was a discrepancy with her 2005 tax return and that she owed over $2400. But if she paid today, they would reduce it to $1792. They wanted the money in itune cards. She made them spell out itune as this was not a normal form of money for her. She asked for names and badge numbers. They told her that they would call her back at 1:00 p.m. on 7/6/16. She received the phone call a little before noon. I was at her house and as of 4:50 p.m. they have not called back. The number above was the one they used to contact her.
