I received a call saying that the IRS was issuing a warrant for my arrest. That there was a tax issue and I must contact the IRS, specifically Steve Parker’s office at 206.717.7428. Completely untrue, and you should not call this number back. The IRS didn’t even have my cell phone number! Be warned!

Officer Danny Carter contacted me via telephone and stated that he was from the IRS and and that I owed money and provided a Code # of IRM05Y327. Called from a phone number of 516-595-8197. No other information was provided.

I have been contacted twice today from telephone number 202-569-5674 and told that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me and I should return their call immediately. I know this is a scam and I don’t intend to contact them but wanted to let you know so you can have their telephone number on record and hopefully let other people know about this type of scam.
