Type of a scam Tax Collection
A Man claiming to be "Shawn Miller" with the IRS Revenue Commission told me I was audited, and now being sued by the IRS for the amount of $3, 162.00. They knew my name and address, and told me the audit reflected my calculations and payment was off for the tax years of 2008-2012. They asked for my lawyers name, and then transferred me to a "supervisor" who then wanted me to pay in full on the phone. He even had me write down his employee ID and my reference number. Both people had heavy middle eastern accents.
