They left me a voice mail messege saying: A number with immediate effect.Due to your all social security benefits will be canceled until further clearance. Subsequently case # DMC7000108900 filed under your name with 3 Federal Agencies- Federal Trade Commission, Better Business Bureau, Financial Crime Investigation. This investigation is underway and we have reason to believe that this might be a case of Identity theft. In case you feel this is due to a error, you may connect to aTeleSocial Security Administration. In order to connect with a Social security administration officer, press 1 now. I still have the voice mail but dont know how to send.

Got several messages left that we were being taken to court and call right away. Called back and they represented themselves as IRS calling to tell us that were owed the IRS for back taxes that we had paid at the wrong tax rate. They seemed very well informed, said we would be taken to court right away or arrested if we didn’t pay the amount they told us and would give us an address to send the money to. You can go to the IRS.gov/account web site, set up and account and it will tell you right away if you owe any money…only takes a few minutes to set up.

This phone number called and said that they were the IRS and I would be arrested in 24 hours by local cops if I did not call back. They said I had 4 serious allegations against me. This was all in a voicemail with a very automated voice saying it. Ridiculous. I imagine if I had called back they would’ve wanted money.
