I got a voice mail stating that this was my last reminder (I hadnt received any other calls) that the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me. The IRS stands for Investigating Reporting Services. When I called the number back there was a ton of background noise, like a room full of people all having other phone conversations. I was told by "Jeffrey" with in indian accent that I needed to pay for a mis payment from my husbands taxes. I asked for a case number so I could look it up online, the man told me that I was crazy that I didn’t know what I did! It was actually kind of funny how nonprofessional he was. After he repeatedly told me I was crazy he finally asked me if I paid my taxes personally or through a CPA. As soon as I told him we used a CPA, he hung up on me. I never gave any personal information but I’m sure they are scaring people into sending him money.
