Type of a scam Tax Collection
A man called twice, each time the messages were identical, claiming to be Officer Justin Davis from the IRS Dept. He said the IRS has issued an arrest warrant against us and that our address was under physical investigation. Then for us to call 352-547-1676 for more information. It was very important that we call. The man sounded foreign and with both messages being identical, he must have been reading from a script. We were not mentioned by name nor was our address given. Knowing this to be a scam, we did not call. I’m sure if we had called, he would have tried to get money from us.
