Type of a scam Government Grant
I received two calls yesterday and one this morning from the same scam group. Each time, the operator had a strong foreign accent. The initial caller had my basic information (phone number and address). Pitch: The government gives grant $ to tax payers each year for free; no application required. He got frustrated when I would not give more personal information and requested that something be sent to me in writing. I even gave my email address to make this request easier. The caller this morning gave me a number to call and confirm that this offer is real (not valid).
