Type of a scam Online Purchase
Facebook page was showing a sale on work boots. The site showed being secure. After entering payment information I received an email stating that I had transferred money to the website. It also stated that due to the foreign exchange rate the amount may differ from the purchase amount. The email also noted that the charge would be shown from a completely different "company". The only contact information available was the email address. I replied to the email stating I wanted the order cancelled and obviously received no reply. I have never seen any process like this purchasing anything online before. I reported the page and filed a claim with my bank.
