I was trying to unlock my iphone that is locked by icloud. I have purchased the phone a year ago, i have a receipt. and i filled all the details at iphoneimei.net

paid $28 and they said you will need to pay another $42 on completion. placed the order and after 2 days they sent me an email saying that the unlock is ready and i need to pay thenext $42 dollars. so i payed that $42 and waited for another 2 days and then they sent me an email saying that my iphone was blacklisted and its not possible to unlock it and they will do an in store credit refund.

I sent them multiple emails including my apple purchase receipt and they never answered back. I went to the payment gateway which is nochex.com and they said the merchant decides whether they refund or not.

iphoneimei.net is a scammer and nochex.com is promoting scammer merchants.

I used this service which I found on the web that claimed to be able to unlock my iPad which is locked to a forgotten iCloud user account. I purchased the iPad several years ago and due to Apple’s anti-theft policy is locked to my old user account. Iphoneimei.net stated that for an initial payment of 29 dollars and a final payment of 41 dollars they could unlock my iCloud account. The company policy claimed that they would provide a refund if they were not able to perform the service. After 5 days and not having the iPad unlocked and after exchanging emails they asked for an additional "discounted" $25.00 payment. I asked if the unlock was actually possible if I made the additional payment and they never replied to that question and the unlock was never performed. In their last email in which I asked for a refund, Nochex Ltd, their credit card processor, stated that a refund could not me made. I believe this company is making false advertising claims and should be made known to the unsuspecting public. I have noticed that similar claims have been made to BBB. This is not the first or last time that they will scam individuals with false claims and take peoples money. Please let people know that this company should be avoided!!! Thank you.

I was given an IPhone from a friend but it was locked to the Sprint carrier. I went to a few phone repair stores and one recommended to go online to unlock it through my IMEI number. So i found what I thought to be as a legit website. So i made my purchase to have it unlocked and the next day they said i had to pay an additional 175 dollars to unlock it. That’s more than the phone is worth! They offer no refunds, so i was scammed out of $28.
