We purchased meat from Iowa Steak co. back in November of 2015. Following a huge misunderstanding, we were charged $800 for how ever cases of meat. My husband and I would never have paid that kind of money for meat, we can’t afford that. So we called the company and after speaking with the vice president, he asked us to send him some information (last 4 digits of our credit card, name, copy of cancelled check, etc). He assured us when he received this information, he would forward it to corporate where a refund of $400 (the credit card charge) would be refunded to us. This was all back in November. We have never seen the credit card adjustment. We have called and he never been able to speak to this man again. We were even told that the salesman would come and collect $400 worth of meat to make good on the refund. No one ever came. Today, we called the company and the customer sales department was so rude to us, even threatening legal action if we didn’t stop calling them and interrupting their day. What a way to do business, threatening your customer.
