Type of a scam Tax Collection
They left a message saying I have a Warrent out for my arrest due to tax evasion. I called & nothing I asked or they had said made any since. So I refused to speak anymore & contacted the bbb. I was told that the IRS does not contact anyone by phone. The number that called me was a Kentucky area code but came up on my caller ID as new york, the guy on the phone was from India who said he was in Washington DC. They had my home address but the true IRS would know that I do not get mail there. They told me I owed the IRS two different amounts, $4,555-$5,703.
