A cab driver in Mazatlan Mexico picked us up and said just for a presentation sit in wee would get $200.00 and did not have to buy anything…so I said I would give the cabbie half….during the presentation a British accent speaking man by the name of Mazatlan Mexico made a great presentation about about a 2 person trip to anyplace by signing up…for $5000.000 and to include accommodation …answered all the question I had to include I could cancel anytime and get a full refund….even had one of the workers pick us up from the hotel and take us out to dinner that night…the cab driver also took us around the entire next day….but when we got back home and tried to follow up on everything with the company they wanted another $1000.000 to activate the account…Mike kept on putting …I tried to get my bank to elp but they could do nothing….all the promises were a lie and to datte I still not been able to get my money back….this happened in April of 2019

We attended a timeshare presentation in Gusto’s Restaurant, at Hacienda Cupulas Blue (HCB), in Cozumel Mexico, with the owner Gustavo, and Big Al, the sales rep for International Vacation Group (IVG). We signed a 9 page contract and paid HCB $12,000.USD for a membership in IVG, HCB was to be our home resort, and Royal Bay Trust Group (RBTG) was to purchase our existing timeshare. Three months later IVG, is demanding an additional $999.USD for a username and password. This fee was not listed in the contract. The contract offers a 2 year guarantee of a full refund, but IVG is now demanding we pay $3,200.USD first by wire to Mexico to receive that refund. RBTG has failed to close escrow on our existing timeshare. According to the contract, we are entitled to a full refund of our $12,000.USD if we fail to close escrow. RBTG is demanding we pay by wire to Mexico $3,200.USD for the $12,000USD refund or we can send by wire to Mexico, $7,600.USD first to close escrow on our existing timeshare. No fees were listed in the contract.
Because HCB processed our cc payment, and IVG and RBTG have guaranteed the refunds, the credit card company can do nothing.
Stay away from International Vacation Group, Royal Bay Trust Group, and Hacienda Cupulas Blue. It is a scam!
