I was supposed to be getting a dog delivered from another state that I had purchased. I believe the two were working together. I received a phone call from the pet mover letting me know the dog was in transit but I needed to check my email right away. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak the puppy would require a different kennel and that would cost me $999 but would be refunded once dog was delivered. I sent the money and they continued to keep in touch. They then called again with another problem and another email requesting more money for insurance. They used the AKC logo in this email threatening jail time and fines. I then called the AKC to see if they were affiliated, and they were not. I forwarded this email to the AKC. In the meantime I am out close to $1600
