Type of a scam Identity Theft
I received a message though Facebook messenger from a relative saying she got a grant from the I.F.C. for $70 000 as a “ cash surpirse delivered to my doorstep”. They asked me to text to a phone number to apply to the agent. I asked this person to tell me the name of the street they grew up on to confirm identity and they could not. I contacted this friend who states she has had her friends calling her all day as someone had hacked her account.
