Type of a scam Tax Collection
A fake IRS agent called me saying that a warrant has been issued for my arrest because there we discrepancies in my tax filing over the last 6 years. He threatened to have the police issued to my house unless I paid the balance due right then and their with a credit card over the phone. He was very threatening and could prey on less suspecting/trusting people. He said his name was *** *** (probably a fake name). His IRS id number was *** (most likely fake). He said my case number was *** (most likely fake). It did concern me because he had my name, address & phone number. He basically tried to bully me into paying the money with threats.
