Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan
I received a letter that said "IRS" in huge bold letter with a stamp that looks like its from a government agency. Upon opening it says final notice in clear bold worrying people. Upon detailed inspection and because I’ve fallen prey to this before and had to report fraud to my bank i know not to fall for it again. They say that they will reduce your payments but really they’re just submitting paperwork for you for a fee. Paperwork that is simple and takes 5 minutes to complete and file.
