I had been looking at jobs and getting emails of opportunities daily. I responded to an email about Mystery Shopper at Walmart stores.

Answered some questions and didn’t think much of it…until a few days later I received a USPS Priority Mail package. Enclosed was a letter from IntelliShop and a check for $1,850. The letter congratulated me for pre-qualifying to take part in the Secret Shopper Program and instructed me to deposit the enclosed $1,850 check into my bank and noted that $250 is compensation for my participation in this consumer evaluation. The first part of the evaluation, I was instructed to purchase any item not more than $80 and to note the cleanliness and professionalism of the cashier, as well as the speed of the transaction. I was also to note the name of the cashier and whether they said "Welcome to Wal-Mart" at the beginning of the transaction. The second part of the evaluation instructed me to utilize the Walmart2Walmart Money Transfer service at the same Wal-Mart store. I was instructed to make a Walmart2Walmart transfer of $1500 ($750 EACH) to: (1) Receiver’s Name: Patrick Daubney (2) Houston, Texas 77005 (2) Receiver’s Name: Scott Richter (2) Houston, Texas 77005

I was so excited and thought that my prayers were being answered…but, then I started thinking SCAM! There wasn’t any business on the internet by this name (There is an Intelli-Shop). The response email address is [email protected] – Really?!? I just hope others aren’t taken advantage of. I’m trying to figure out who to report them too.
