Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
Received check in mail for $1950.00. A note was included instructing me to send them a text message at the number they provided & include: full name, amount on the check, the check number, email address, alternative cell phone number. They stated on the note this must be done to complete verification of the check & in order to proceed to the next process. Knowing it was to good to be true i didn’t attempt to cash. I never have heard of or had any contact with this alledged business.
