After countless calls from 815-546-*** numbers, I finally answered to yell at them because I knew it was a scam. They claimed they were a Health insurance angency. I did not tell them my name or any personal information. I did however say yes a couple times before realizing that is exactly what they were trying to get me to say. After I had said yes three times, they hung up. I’m unsure if they can do anything with my “yes” statement since I did not give them my name or any other personal info. But they do have my phone number and recordings of me saying “yes”. Apparently they try to get recordings of you saying yes so they can use that to make unwanted purchases, that you are “agreeing” to pay for. Extremely unfair and illegal.
