Type of a scam Online Purchase
This company called me out of the blue and told me my computer had been compromised. I had never heard of them before but they pressured and scared me so I allowed them access to my computer. They then asked me to post date a check for the following month and to send it to an address in California. They proceeded to call me several more times to be sure I had sent the postdated check. When I told my family and the bank about it they had me stop the check. When insta resolve called again and I told them what I had done they proceeded to yell at me and told me to resend the check and refused to send me an invoice.
