Claimed my computer is infected with malware, warned not to use it for any banking or purchasing. Offered plans to scan/protect ranging from 1 to 3 years, @ $199 to $399, payable by check only, to be sent within 24 hours. They apparently did scan my computer but I saw nothing discovered as a problem. Very bad phone connection with lots of clicks, speakers sounded Indian, but both had American names.

There was a message on my machine that made it sound like they were from Windows and that I was having issues with my computer. I was to call 480-409-1019. I did so and spoke to Sonny Willis, manager, who had a thick accent. He told me that he was contacted by Chrome as to my issues with my computer and I gave him remote access. He wanted me to send a check for $509 to the address above for a lifetime of service. I contacted my daughter and she told me it was a scam. They are now calling repeatedly. I contacted the police and the ScamPulse.com.

I had a message on my machine that said they were calling about my computer. That it was hacked. I gave them access to the computer, but got uneasy when I saw my files being moved around. They haven’t been paid yet and I found out that they would not know if I had issues when they called, only after I give them access. I am not returning their calls.
