We received a phone call claiming we were low on these light bulbs and that they would send us a free sample along with a gift card. We received the product and then after the return date we received two invoices, each for 1/2 Case. Now they are claiming we can not return the bulbs and must pay the invoice.

The caller from this company stated that my company had ordered bulbs from Lighting Products Co. in the past and that they were offering to send a complimentary box of bulbs to me with a $100 gift card to be used at a popular retail store. I asked if I had to purchase or pay for anything from them if I accepted this gift card. I was assured that I did not have to pay for the complimentary order of bulbs or the gift card but rather just accept the gifts and a catalog for any future orders I might want to make from them. I never received a gift card or catalog but instead received a box of T12 bulbs which I never opened but instead put in storage. A week after receiving this "complimentary" order, I received an invoice in the amount of $357.51 for the bulbs that I never ordered or asked for.

They will call your business asking to confirm the business address to send a Wal-Mart gift card. Then they will send a huge box of unordered merchandise (in my case light bulbs). I called the number on the box to see where the order came from or why they were delivered, they then launch into a speech about remember the Walmart gift card we called you about, then claim that you ordered the light bulbs and followed up with a confirmation call for the order before sending the order.

WE RECEIVED A PHONE CALL FROM LIGHTING PRODUCTS CO SAYING THEY WERE SENDING A GIFT CARD TO OUR COMPANY IN APPRECIATION OF THE BUSINESS WE HAVE DONE WITH THEM. INSTEAD A LARGE BOX OF LIGHTS ARRIVES. I CALLED THEM AND THEY SAID THEY SENT US AN ORDER WITH A GIFT CARD. I AM REJECTING THIS PACKAGE. I THINK THIS LOOKS LIKE A SCAM THAT THEY WILL TRY TO COLLECT MONEY LATER.

Received an invoice in the mail for 1/2 case of F40T12CWES lamps that we DID NOT order. It was billed using the name of an employee as the PO (which was misspelled), and at a 742.8% mark-up over actual retail price by legitimate suppliers. It also states that is it "part 1 of 2 invoices". So they may try sending a second one in the future?

When we tried to contact them to inquire about the invoice, their 800# goes unanswered. However, they did call after the Net 30 invoice was "past due" to ask why we hadn’t paid it. My co-worker that got the original invoice was on vacation, so I did not know anything about it…so I asked her to e-mail me a copy of it to look into to, so I now have an e-mail address.

After asking around the company about it, I Googled the business name, and found the F rating on the ScamPulse.com’s website…and read some of the 35 complaints from people all being shipped and/or billed for material they didn’t order or was told were free samples. That is how I came to realize that this bill was just a scam, too.

Company called stating that they wanted to send us a gift card for doing business with them and that they knew we would raffle it off to one of our employees and that the gift card would come in my name. I gave them my full name and information and a few days later received a box of light bulbs. Now we received the invoice and when you call any of there numbers all you get is an answering machine to leave your name and number and they will contact you in 24 to 48hrs. Nobody has called back and it’s been over 2 weeks now. I don’t know why they have not been shut down yet. Complaint’s everywhere about them. FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD
