Type of a scam Credit Repair/Debt Relief
Richard called and left voice mail for immediate disconnect of electric power. Asked us to call 844-335-0951- when I called them, it said "Ohio power" the man who answered said that we had not paid the power bill for 3 months and they would have someone disconnect within the hour. I said that my payments were automated and he said that it didn’t matter since they weren’t going to my account even if I had paid invoices showing payment. He then told me to call 844-543-4978 and ask for Cindy Garcia at ext. 1516. I called AEP directly and the agent there said we were all paid and it was a scam.
