Type of a scam Online Purchase
Received call from someone who insisted he was with ScamPulse.com. Wanted to refund the monies I paid a 3 or 4 years ago for a "security program for my computer". I did purchase a so-called security/anitvirus program, however I was fairly certain ScamPulse.com did not call to refund money. He went further to to give me a 22 alpha-numeric number to enter into my computer to "verify he was who he said he was with BBB". I went no further, told him he was pulling a scam. He called me on my cell which is attached to most of my personal business. He called me in Oklahoma but I have a Georgia area code.
