Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
Was sent a text from 549-00 offering $250 weekly to wrap car. Went to website and entered information, website said you will get $500 per week, someone will show up to wrap car. Signed up My husband, mother-in-law, and myself for the job. A few days later received a text from (209) saying my 1st week wage and wrap installation has been delivered via USPS. Mother-in-law got her package first. Opened package and it was a $1,998 check with a letter, saying deposit check, keep $250, and the rest goes to wrap installer. Called bank and routing and account numbers did not match bank on check
