The $230 refund your customer requested has been processed and should be reflected on your customer’s statement in two to seven business days. Please note that business days do not include weekends or bank holidays.
If you sent a receipt to your customer, you can send them a refund receipt at any time from your in-app activity or Square Dashboard:
From in-app Activity:
1. Tap Activity.
2. Locate and tap the payment > New Receipt.
From Square Dashboard:
1. Visit Transfers.
2. Use the date selector tool to locate a specific payment.
3. Click on the payment > Send Receipt.

No links were clicked in the email so the attempted scam was unsuccessful, but this email initially looked legit as if it was from Square, a service this business uses for payment processing. I am reporting it so that others know not to click any links.

Received an email from them pretending to be Square Up telling me i accepted payment from a card ending in 1554. They were asking if i wanted to deposit now.

We received a request to pay on an delinquent Square account in our name. We do not have a Square account. We do not owe on this account and we have never been contacted by phone as stated in the letter.
