Type of a scam Online Purchase
A facebook ad that looks exactly like the website for Rothy’s shoes as click bait, takes you to a page that look exactly like the Rothy’s website and has "Rothy’s" at great sale prices – makes it look like Rothy’s is having a sale on specific models/styles. If you look closely, it has a different url. I purchased a pair of shoes, received no email receipt of purchase and eventually an order tracking text with a tracking system in Chinese. Several weeks later a pair of shoes arrived (probably fake Rothy’s) which were not what I had selected. There was no packing receipt in the package. Attempts to contact "customer service" from the pngage which I had trouble finding again, led to various individuals email me that they would not replace the order, that my shoes were out of stock and that I should keep the ones I received or sell them to someone else. They also offered to "refund" $3.00 on my $60 order. No resolution has occurred.
