Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
I was sent a letter to be a mystery shopper along with a check for$2,350. I was told, in the letter, to text them at (703)595-2721 so the funds would be made available to me to purchase 4 gift cards at Best Buy and do a survey. As soon as I complete the survey to text them again at (858)682-4000. They also ask that I send a picture of the cards, the purchase receipt, and my report to this email. [email protected]
Upon receiving this I immediately call Mid South ScamPulse.com and found out it was a scam.
Thanks for the info. I also got the same text. FBI needs to do a STING on these guys.
