Type of a scam Phishing
I was contacted by these clowns in May 2020 stating they worked directly for Mcafee as 3rd party consultants. They have no affiliation whatsoever with MacAfee after calling Mcafee directly to find out if this was true.
They said I need the latest version of McAfee when I already had the latest version of Macafee anti virus software I purchased directly from them.
Then they told me I needed additional protection for my IP address which I didn’t need at all.
In total they charged me $250 US for anti virus software I already had and IP address hijacking protection that I never really needed as it was already covered under my MacAfee network protection plan.
They also said that this fee of $250 US would clean up my laptop and keep my IP address safe and secure from hackers.And there would be no additional fees or services required for the foreseeable future.
3 months later they started again with harassing phone calls that I was attacked again and needed to pay an additional $200 US to add on to the very services they had APPARENTLY already sold me in May 2020.
I called Jinigram directly for a chargeback /refund as they are complete scammers. They refuse to even speak to me regarding this scam.
The worst part is I relied on this refund to pay for my chemotherapy medication and not to put in the pockets of fraudulent scammers & clowns.
