Type of a scam Tech Support

Rec’d. call from "Dell" rep, "Matthew Marsh", with a strong foreign accent, stating I need technical services on my computer. He didn’t take remote control access to my computer, but rather, instructed me to buy $1000 worth of Google play cards to purchase a booster. Through several more conversations, I was told to buy $4500 more in Google play cards to purchase a fiber-optic cable, which I refused to do, but that if I did agree to do so, "Rebecca Denver" from the Marshfield warehouse of Dell, would come to my home this afternoon at 1 p.m. After I argued with him that this was a scam, he insisted I speak with his supervisor, "Adrian Ramos", which I refused to do. This scammer knew my land line number and my cell phone number, which the official Dell company has on file.
