imposter claiming to be with our pharmacy

Type of a scam Phishing

A caller called our landline which does not have Caller ID claiming to be from our pharmacy. He had my husbands name and was insisting on getting my husband’s doctors name. Lucky our doctor recently retired & my husband didn’t know our new doctors name and gave the phone to me. The scammer would only say his first name which started with an M and sounded Asian. He would not identify which pharmacy he was calling from and kept insisting on getting my husband’s doctors name so he could "help" my husband get the drugs he needed to relieve "his discomfort". Clearly a scam, my husband is not on drugs for pain, so I just hung up. I followed up with my insurance company in case someone got a hold of our information and their advice was to watch our claims closely.
