Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
I applied to a job posting on indeed.com and heard back almost immediately. The person told me that he would be sending a check that I needed to cash. The money was for an orphanage. He instructed me to keep $400 and give the remained ~2000. I told him I was not going to do this and he ended the call. A day later, I received a check in the mail (Fedex).
