Type of a scam Travel/Vacations

Timeshare resale, working between Icon Brokerage Group of Greenwood Village, CO and Conry and Associates Escrow, LLC of Baton Rouge, LA, Both state Attorney general notified, no responses from them to complaints of failure to produce contractual replacement of dissatisfied customer money over failure to document international transfers of money. Foolish to send money overseas, but they did real contracts under state rules of engagement in colorado and Louisiana as businesses. Of course two states involved so look out, they are a a scam, I spoke with both entities and they have failed to deliver my money back and I ask for all to read this one to stop them while the states are incompetent to do so. States should just tax the process folks as income gain or loss it would kill timeshare scams overnight. This is easily a solvable problem though proper registration and tax solution. It would force an easy solution from the US federal side too with state interaction. The seeds of corruption start in the US and end up in those countries to feather the nest of individuals in the US likely and those countries involved.

We were contacted by the Icon Brokerage Group in Greenwood village Colorado about reselling our "Mayan Palace"

timeshare in Mexico. We signed a proposal offer and faxed it to them. Supposedly that went to the wrong dept. and when we did not here anything back I emailed the agent and he gave me the correct fax number. I was suppose to fax the first 3 pages of the contract to him. I could not find something I thought I should have so I called my timeshare company to get it. I told them that I was going to sell it and they immediately came back with the question, "did you contact them or did they contact you?’ They said that if they contacted me it was a scam and I should not deal with that company. She asked me if I would like her to check her list to see if they were on it and they were. So I checked the ScamPulse.com which gave them a grading of "F" but there had been no reports on them. The police dept. in Greenwood village, CO could not bring up an address for the company. After doing more searching it showed that the company had voluntarily dissolved the corporation in 2007. It also showed that reinstatement papers had been filed in November of 2015. This is what I know. I am not sure if the Mayan palace was telling me the truth but I am assuming that they were. The original address of this company which I saw on a website was in greenwood Village, but a different address is listed on the proposal we received. For our Mayan Palace timeshare which has 6 locations in Mexico at the level we purchased, we were offered 42, 891.00 dollars for a one bedroom red week with a bonus week at Mazatlan. This was more than double of what we paid for it. We were to give them a 6% commission of the fore mentioned amount for their work in reselling the timeshare.
