Type of a scam Online Purchase

Initially, I was looking for a second-hand/new MacBook on a website popular in the UK called GumTree (similar to ebay but more localised). Here, I came across a seller named "Chris" who was selling a new MacBook Air for £*** cheaper than market price (seemed a little too good already, but I contacted him). He got back to me a few hours later claiming that the laptop had already been sold but that, "if it is any help", he bought it from an e-commerce website called icoinesto (https://icoinesto.com/). He further provided a discount of 40%! Considering that the website already offers 10% on its products, this seemed way to good to be true, but the temptation is strong of course. Nonetheless, I did a background check on the website and things that immediately caught my eye were the fact that the website domain was only 4 days old, there were very no reviews on the website itself and only 2 or 3 articles of people claiming they had bought products here for cheaper – mind you they were all positive reviews, of course. However, the articles were approximately one month old… but the domain was only 4 days old… So I digged further into it and it turns out someone had been scammed by an alias of the same website (just running under a different name at the time), and had been sent the exact same message with the 40% off from a GumTree seller. So, please stay away from this site, or any of its kind (previous names were very similar).
