Icey Chic Fashion

Tasha – Jun 11, 2020

I placed an online order to “IceyChic Fashion” on May 2, 2020 (per my email receipt of confirmation- shown in screenshot provided). I received the confirmation email on May 2, 2020 as well as a receipt for my payment from [email protected] to “Yolanda Fashion Group” showing my payment of $121.97. I was receiving email correspondences from IceyChic Fashion up until May 14, when they sent me an email that my order has shipped. Today is June 11, 2020 and I have not received my items, cannot contact the store via email (no phone number listed as well to call), and the tracking information has said “In Transit” since May 23, despite the fact that it has not left Vista, CA since this date (according to tracking information). I have NEVER experienced worst customer service, ever. I have contacted my bank to let them know that this purchase was indeed a scam and they have been able to refund my account. If you experience the same thing, contact your bank directly for your money back because the seller is absolutely useless, will not get back to you, and according to other reviews, they won’t refund you anyway. Oh, and also- since I could not contact them via email anymore, I decided to leave a bad review on their website for one of the items I “purchased”. I went to look for it today and it is no longer there, so I’m assuming they delete negative reviews immediately on their social media accounts.

On May 3rd I ordered an item from IceyChic after it was continuously advertised on Facebook. After receiving a tracking number, it said the items were coming from Vista, CA rather than their Brooklyn, NY location. When I click on the tracking number link it takes me to a Chinese website that I cannot translate. When I checked my payment to IceyChic on my bank statement, it says the payment was made to an individual named Yolanda. I never received my items and I never heard back from the company after sending a two emails.

I’m in the exact same situation! Call your bank, they refunded me! Did you ever receive your package? If so, how are the items..

Jacquelyn – May 30, 2020

Absolutely a scam. I’m so sad I wasted money here. I placed an order on April 7 2020 Because it seems like a US store and has reviews which I think now are fake and still haven’t received it. I contacted customer support almost every day and they keep telling me to wait 8 more business days and every time 8 business days passes, still nothing. I don’t even think it will be worth it to return it if it takes 3 months to get there. Customer support keeps blaming the delay on Covid-19 but some reviews I’ve read since have indicated that delays have been taking place long before the pandemic

Type of a scam Online Purchase

This company is stealing images from legitimate boutiques online for their social media advertising and then once consumers place an order, shipping low quality merchandise that looks nothing like the photos posted on their website. I have previously ordered from a nice boutique that is popular on Instagram. I was targeted with an ad for this company, who was offering the same merchandise as this nice boutique I’m familiar with, but with a better sale. Once I placed my order, I then realized that the package was shipping from China, not New York. It took weeks of emailing back and forth with their support team to locate my package. It took almost a month to arrive to me. Each time I reached out, they provided a different "story" as to why my package was delayed and how long it would take to get to me. When I eventually received the clothes I bought, they were extremely low quality, almost like Halloween costume fabric. It was a total waste of money and they refused to give me a refund. I am now forced to work through my bank to get my money back. It has been such a hassle and I hope no one else has to deal with them. They are also deleting negative comments on their social media pages to prevent anyone from not ordering. Such a scam during a hard time for everyone. The true definition of false advertising with stolen social media photos.

Scam website that claims to be located in the US in New York, once the package arrives it says from China. The clothing was an awful imitation of what was advertised on the website. On the website it says you have a 30 day window for full refund return. When I contacted them for return they said they would only refund me 20% of what I paid, when I said no your website states full refund they stoped answering my emails! SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!!!

Type of a scam COVID-19

I placed an order via Icey Chic’s website April 2nd. I never received an order confirmation email, just a receipt via PayPal showing the ‘merchant’ was in fact Yolanda Fashion Group. The info listed was actually [email protected] I followed up via that email address the following week with no response. I then went back on the website and emailed the support email listed there ([email protected]). They did respond, and said the item was shipped and to expect delays due to COVID-19. They said it should arrive in the next 10-15 days, which would have been April 28th-30th. When nothing arrived I followed back up with support, because the tracking information hadn’t updated since April 15th. They told me to check back in 2-3 days. I did, and have yet to receive any response. It seems the website I ordered from is less than 6 months old. I did more research and there are similar complaints from customers on other websites built to report similar scam sites. Their website shows only 4-5 star reviews, but doesn’t even allow new reviews to be posted.
