A recorded voice said "This is (some business or something), can you hear me ok?" This happened at 1:52 p.m. today. I did not say yes or ok. Obviously it just happened so I don’t know if anything is going to come of it yet.

Alex called from 860-540-6999 and said that my computer had been reporting issues for the past couple of weeks. My windows to be exact. I heard all sorts of other telemarketers in the background and knew it was a scam from the very very beginning. I listened just to hear how crazy it would be. I got off with him because he said it was my home computer and I told him I had an office computer (he called my work, ***). Once I told him work computer he was fast to get off the phone. He did call me ma’am so at least he has manners!
