Initial means of contact Email
I applied for a Local ProjectManager position with CB-LOGISTICS, via Indeed.com.
Eleanor Baird, HH STAFFING AGENCY, emailed me via indeed.com about the PM position and requested a clean copy of my resume and personal email address, which I forwarded via Indeed.com.
I was notified by Indeed.com that they had removed the listing I had used for any one of several reasons they remove listings, but were not specific as to which reason they removed that specific listing.
Next I was contacted by email by KIM NEWMAN, HR manager, HV-GROUP LLC, and asking if I was still interested in the PM Position, and asking to schedule a quick interview. I did, they called, interview lasted precisely 10 minutes.
I was selected, congrats, and OLIVER STERN would be my regional manager, and he would be guiding me through the 30 day training program, which was paid at $2000 if I completed successfully. I completed the first week, being congratulated for my great attitude and scores. Monday starting the second week OLIVER STERN asked me to take on additional compensated project work, for procuring office equipment. I agreed, and on Tuesday was informed I was going to have to use my own credit card, after linking it to their corporate account, as they didn’t yet have their corporate credit cards set up.
I’ve attached the last email detailing the process they wanted me to follow.
I sent an email calling out the issues and inconsistencies and have not heard back since.
I’ve also filed a report with more details, names, dates, copies of email, etc., with the FBI.
It’s criminal that these people are trying to take advantage of those of us stranded at home desperate for work!
My fiancé just went through the exact same thing. Such a waste of time, low life’s.

I found them on indeed. They called me for an interview and then said I had the job. They said there was 4 weeks of training and then I would be hired for a new office in Richmond where I live being paid 94k a year. I had been doing this training and they said they would even pay me for training. And 6 modules later which were all remote and just reading them and responding to question. He told me they want my help to buy office supplies for new office and I said yes I would love to help. Then he asked me to link my credit card to their corporate office this morning. I have never received an email from anyone except this OLIVER STERN. And their business does not show up in nyc and I just saw a post on a scam website saying this happened to someone else just last week.
100% a scam. Do not do it.
I had a very similar experience with “HV Group LLC”. After a week of “training “ they have now asked me to procure office equipment and someone From “HQ” will be in touch to let me know how. It’s a shame people are so shady. Oh well, back to the job hunt. The great news is I don’t have to waste any more time on their fake training.

I received an email from an “Ashley Cole” after applying to the position via Indeed. I tried to contact her to verify the opportunity, and in doing so found that she did not work for the company that she claimed to. Further, after receiving some emails directly from the employer in stylized font, which looked odd, I attempted to contact them directly but their NY number just continued ringing, and when I contacted the landlord associated with their NY address they stated that they had no tenants by the name of HV Group. Further, I had a friend visit the address of their Hong Kong HQ, and they do not exist at that location either. Last, after spending a week working on case studies for “training”, I was asked to give corporate access to my personal credit card so they could transfer funds (in excess of my cc limit) in order for me to purchase office equipment that I would store until they are ready to open an office locally.
