Type of a scam Rental
The scammer has gone on VRBO and used my cabin information and listed it on Craigslist. I happened to be at my cabin when one gal and her friends arrived to stay at my cabin. That is how I came to know about it. She had already paid PayPal. Then today another woman from California got suspicious before she paid on PayPal. She looked for my name and cabin name and found me on VRBO. She has been corresponding with me and declined her reservation when they called her. She made up a personal excuse. I don’t want others to be scammed before it is stopped. I filled out Craigslist complaint form about May 28,2020 and they have not deleted it yet. Still hoping they will soon. So I have been targeted because they are using my cabin in the Craigslist post and others are being victimized by taking their money from PayPal.
