Type of a scam Employment
Hello, I just wanted to reach out and let you know about an employment scam that I was just presented with. I received an email from a company that I had submitted a resume to through zip recruiter. They said that I had to go through an online interview process. At the end of the process, I was given the job. However, they wanted to send me a check so that I could go out and purchase several items that would be needed for my home office. They are using the name Humanyze and the individual that I was emailing with has the email address of [email protected] To initiate the interview process you need to set up a google hangouts account in order for the interview to begin. After suggesting I needed to purchase the necessary items for my home office, I immediately knew it was a scam. I responded with that comment and told this individual that I was going to reach out to the ScamPulse.com. So, needless to say I have heard nothing back from them. This needs to stop! There are so many people out there trying to make an honest living and I am sure that many fall prey to this type of manipulation and extortion. Thank you for taking this into consideration.
