Type of a scam Online Purchase
This person or persons advertised puppies for sale and I replied to the add online. The person emailed me and I had some concerns after they asked for personal information like my physical address and phone number so that looked them up and it turns out they are a known scammer. I did not give this person my social security number or bank or credit card information. I told them that I looked them up and found out they are scammers and I have reported them. They continued to contact me via email telling me they have already used my information. I responded to them by saying that they could keep talking because I now have their IP address, I don’t, but they don’t know that. In any case I a, concerned they can use my address and phone number for illegal activities.
