Houston Street Dogs

Here is my experience:

It apparently was confusing why it’s annoying and ridiculous to advertise dogs within a 50 mile radius of SEATTLE, call it “SEATTLE street dogs” with dogs that are all located IN HOUSTON. instead of a polite explanation, I got the below. Where do these people get their funding? Clearly they don’t have to have good customer service. Yikes.

We’re not sorry. Life lesson 101: if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all. Scroll on past, Karen. You’re disgusting, entitled, and miserable. Don’t take it out on others and try to drag everyone down to your petty, whiny level. Bye, b[censored].

“We are sorry you are frustrated with your local search. We know some people like to meet a potential lifelong pet in person before they decide to adopt. Our system uses software to reach multiple cities, even though we are based in Houston. This is why, when you do a 50 mile radius search for a city like Seattle, our dogs show up in your results. Although this means you can’t meet them in person…here are all the reasons why we are still an amazing organization to adopt from. Hopefully in the future we can work out a way to clarify the search radius results with all the other systems out there.”

Have a great day!

Contacted to gently complain about dogs being advertised in Seattle when they were only available for local pick up. Apparently that has saved “thousands” of dogs though and if I don’t have the funds to take off work and take a cross country trip, I don’t have the funds to properly care for a dog? Who are these people? Agree with above – they charge $850 for “transportation.” Scam indeed!

Thanks for posting. I had a similar experience with these people. And why do they call everyone “Karen?” lol. I’m hoping that if enough people see the human who is responding to the public, they may think twice about what kind of organization this is.

Karen here is mad that dogs are getting saved and she can’t afford one…obviously a quality person…

How is that a scam? Did you actually try to do business with them or you just emailed to [censored] and weren’t happy because they did pander to you?

Absolutely horrendous organization if you can call it that. This organization is likely a complete scam, they don’t have a physical address, a phone number or an ounce of credibility. They have the most unprofessional agents replying to emails filled with slander, spewing hate, cursing potential clients over email. They supposedly run an animal rescue service out of Houston but they have listings in Denver and other cities I’m sure so they likely accept money over the internet or apps then you’ll never hear form them again. Their website isn’t even legit if you click on the link it takes you no where which is exactly where this organization is going and fast! Stay away from them by all means they are a blood sucking pitiful group of people preying on people who want to rescue animals! [censored] of society.
