Type of a scam Rental
Found rental home listed on Trulia or Zillow app & selected option to contact for more info. Email response received, and interestingly they inquired about credit score & income. Then a 2nd email was received from them with a link to their website to fill out an application. I did not proceed with this as it seemed suspicious. We drove by the home to see the neighborhood & there was a for sale sign on the yard & a car parked in the driveway. Our realtor knocked on the door & asked the owner if the home was for rent & they said no. We made them aware of the scam & fraudulent attempt on potential home renters
